Artefaktwaffen, Artefaktmacht, der Netherlichttiegel und die legendären Gegenstände im Stile von Legion werden nicht mit in die nächste Erweiterung Battle for Azeroth genommen. Als Ersatz dafür gibt es ein neues System, welches diese Features auf gewisser Weise miteinander vereint: das Herz von Azeroth. Dabei handelt es sich um eine Artefakt-Halskette, die wir zu Beginn unserer Abenteuer im nächsten Addon von Magni Bronzebart, dem Propheten der Weltenseele, erhalten. 

Es wird keine anderen Halsketten in Battle for Azeroth geben, so wie es auch mit den Waffen in Legion gab. Wir werden sie die ganze Erweiterung über anbehalten. Das Herz von Azeroth wird ganz automatisch durch Azerit (Artefaktmacht) verstärkt, welches wir aus verschiedenen Quellen bekommen. Die Halskette kann neue Level erreichen, wenn genug Macht durch Azerit gesammelt wurde. Durch höhere Level, schaltet man mehr Möglichkeiten frei, seine Ausrüstung zu verstärken. Die Verstärkung der Ausrüstung ist bei jedem neuen Item komplett anders und somit hat man im Gegensatz zur Artefaktwaffe auch immer neue Möglichkeiten.
 

Die Halskette freischalten

Die Halskette bekommt ihr ganz automatisch während der Einführungsquests von Battle for Azeroth. Nachdem ihr das Szenario der Schlacht um Lordaeron abgeschlossen habt, werdet ihr nach Silithus geschickt, denn Magni hat eine wichtige Nachricht für euch. Durch die Tat von Sargeras stirbt Azeroth unter unseren Füßen und sie will uns ein letztes Geschenk geben, damit wir den Planeten retten können: das Herz von Azeroth! In einer kurzen Questreihe versuchen wir die Herzkammer zu sichern und bekommen dann die Halskette und unser erstes Azerit-Ausrüstungsteil. 

Die Ressource Azerit

Azerit ist die Artefaktmacht in Battle for Azeroth. Azerit bekommt man einfach aus allen möglichen Quellen, wie es bei Artefaktmacht von Legion bereits der Fall war. Ein großer Unterschied ist nur der, dass es dieses Mal keine richtigen Items gibt, die die Taschenplätze einnehmen. Bekommt ihr Azerit, wandelt sich diese automatisch in Artefaktmacht um. Wichtig hierbei zu erwähnen ist aber, dass es pro Charakter immer nur eine Halskette gibt und man somit auch nicht immer wieder von vorne angefangen werden muss mit dem Sammeln, wenn man seine Ausrichtung ändert. Ob es ein wöchentliches Cap geben wird, ist aktuell noch unklar!

Die Halskette verstärken

Generell gilt, dass durch jede Artefaktstufe, auch das Itemlevel vom Herz von Azeroth ansteigt. Um es genauer zu sagen um 2 Gegenstandsstufen. Der Spaß beginnt bei Itemlevel 280! Aber das ist nicht die einzige Möglichkeit, um sie aufzuwerten. Die Ruffraktion Champions von Azeroth spielt noch eine entscheidende Rolle. Die Fraktion wird erst im Endgame mit der Quest "Um Azeroth zu retten" freigeschaltet. Während der kurzen Questreihe, erhalten wir 15 zusätzliche Itemlevel.

Danach gilt es immer wieder Weltquests auf Kul Tiras und Zandalar zu machen sowie die Abgesandtenquests zu erledigen. Denn nur so gibt es bei den Champions Ruf. Und dieser ist wichtig. Denn auf wohlwollender Rufstufe wird die Quest "Unlocking the Heart's Potential" freigeschaltet und auf respektvoller Rufstufe "The Chamber of Heart". Beide Quests erhöhen das Itemlevel der Halskette erneut um 15. Insgesamt gibt es also über die Fraktion 45 zusätzliche Itemlevel zu holen. Da sagt man wohl nicht Nein zu! 

Die Azerit-Ausrüstung

Das Herz von Azeroth wird es uns erlauben unseren Helm, das Bruststück und die Schultern mit Boni über eine Art von Talentbaum auszustatten. Alle Helm-, Brust- und Schulter-Ausrüstungsteile mit seltener und epischer Qualitätsstufe sind in Battle for Azeroth Azerit-Ausrüstungsteile. Diese können nicht kriegs-/titanengeschmiedet werden und die Boni werden statisch von den Entwicklern bei jedem Item selbst ausgewählt. Es gibt keinen Zufallsfaktor. Dabei unterscheiden sich die verschiedenen Versionen (LFR, normal, heroisch, mythisch) auch nur von ihre Stärke. Die Boni ändern sich nicht. Um die Boni freizuschalten, benötigt man ein entsprechendes Level vom Herz von Azeroth, welches wiederum durch das Sammeln von Azerit erhöht wird. 
 

Jedes Ausrüstungsteil hat ein eigenes Verstärkungs-Interface, in dem sich Ringe befinden. Pro Ring kann ein Bonus gewählt werden, der aktiv sein soll, und in der Mitte befindet sich noch ein besonderer Bonus. Der äußere Ring wird zuerst freigeschaltet und beinhaltet 4 Auswahlmöglichkeiten. Danach kommt der nächste Ring mit 3 Boni, der dritte Ring mit zwei Boni und in der Mitte erhöht man das Itemlevel des Ausrüstungsteils um 5. Hierbei sei gesagt, dass Items aus normalen Dungeons und der Levelphase nur 3 Ringe haben. Ausrüstung aus heroischen Dungeons und Raids vier Ringe!
 

Quellen für Azerit-Ausrüstung

Azerit-Ausrüstung bekommt man nicht einfach so hinterhergeschmissen. Bereits während der Levelphase merkt man dies, denn eigentlich tauscht man kaum die Azerit-Ausrüstung aus, die man über besondere Abschlussquests erhält. Außer wenn zufällig etwas in einem Dungeon fallen gelassen wird oder von einem seltenen Gegner. Im Endgame geht es dann erst so richtig los. Über normale und heroische Dungeons kann man sich seine ersten neuen Azerit-Items besorgen und danach dauert es erst einmal. Denn nun bekommt man sie fast nur noch durch wöchentliche Belohnungen über Raids, die mythisch-plus Kiste und die Belohnungskiste für Eroberungspunkte im PvP. Weltquests bieten keine Azerit-Ausrüstung. Nur ganz selten passiert es, dass man einen Gegenstand durch die Abgesandtenquest erhält. Zu guter Letzt bietet noch die Fraktion Champions von Azeroth zumindest ein Teil pro Rüstungsklasse an. 

Stufenvoraussetzungen der Azerit-Rüstung

Wenn man sein Azerit-Ausrüstungsteil bekommen hat, dann muss man erst einmal sein Herz von Azeroth auf die richtige Stufe bringen. Jeder Bonusring auf der Azerit-Rüstung benötigt nämlich ein bestimmtes Level. Anfangs sind es nur drei Ringe, ab Itemlevel 340 werden es aber vier Stück. Je nach Ausrüstungsplatz werden unterschiedliche Stufen benötigt, auch wenn es sich um das gleiche Itemlevel handelt. In der folgenden Tabelle findet ihr die verschiedenen Voraussetzungen und Abstufungen.

Der Azeritumschmieder

In Legion musste man für jede Ausrichtung seine eigene Artefaktwaffe verstärken und entwickeln. Das Herz von Azeroth wird es allerdings pro Charakter nur 1-mal geben, der Progress ist also bei allen Specs gleich. Jedoch sind die Boni statisch. Das bedeutet, wenn man seine Ausrichtung wechselt, ändern sich die Boni der Azerit-Ausrüstung nicht mit. Man wird also, wenn man alles aus seinem Charakter herausholen will, mehrere Ausrüstungsteile im Inventar haben müssen, um diese dann je nach Ausrichtung auszuwechseln. 

Um umzuskillen muss man mal wieder mit den Astralen reden, die bisher für die Transmogrifikation und das Leerenlager zuständig waren. Sie haben sich ebenfalls in den neuen Hauptstädten Boralus (Handelswindmarkt) sowie Zuldazar (Der große Basar) eingenistet und offenbar haben sie sich mit dem Azerit auseinandergesetzt, denn der sogenannte Azeritumschmieder kann uns dabei helfen die ausgewählten Boni zurücksetzen. Dafür will er aber Gold haben und mit jedem Umskillen wird es teurer. Allerdings werden die Kosten mit dem wöchentlichen Reset ebenfalls zurückgesetzt.

Die vielen verschiedenen Azerit-Boni

Die Boni der Azerit-Ausrüstung sollen sich immer nach dem Content richten, wo das Ausrüstungsteil herkommt. So gibt es spezielle Boni, die es nur auf Ausrüstung in Dungeons gibt und spezielle Boni, die es nur auf Ausrüstung in Raids gibt. Zudem sollen sie auch thematisch zu den Inhalten passen. Also es gibt je nach Dungeon auch noch einmal einige unterschiedliche Boni. So wäre es möglich, dass im Freihafen Boni auftauchen, die ein Piraten-Flair haben. Später im Endgame werden die Effekte auf jeden Fall spannender und interessanter, so wie die Effekte auf Legendaries oder von Tiersets. Denn die Ausrüstung der Levelphase wird schließlich schnell ausgewechselt.

      •  Incite the Pack You occasionally loose a tremendous roar, increasing your Mastery by 56 and granting 13 Mastery to up to 2 nearby allies. Lasts 20 sec.
         Incite the Pack Your damaging spells and abilities have a chance to fling a dagger at your target, causing them to bleed for (19 * 12 / 3) Physical damage over 12 sec, stacking up to 6 times. Stabbing them in the back applies 2 stacks.
      •  Rezan's Fury Your damaging abilities have a chance to call a Child of Rezan to viciously rend your target, dealing 156 Physical damage and causing them to bleed for [(4) * 31] damage over 12 sec.
      •  Rezan's Command Being attacked by an enemy of the Loa has a chance to call a Child of Rezan to grant you a blessing, healing you for 462 and increasing your primary stat by 116 for 1 min.

      •  Thunderous Blast Dealing damage has a chance to call down a Thunderous Blast, dealing 208 Nature damage to the enemy and increasing the damage of Thunderous Blast by 20%. At 100% increased damage, Thunderous Blast will critically hit and reset this effect.
      •  Tidal Surge Your damaging spells and abilities have a chance to release a tidal surge, dealing 205 Frost damage to your target and slowing their movement speed by 20% for 6 sec.
      •  Secrets of the Deep Your spells and abilities have a chance to create a Surging Droplet nearby. Collecting it increases your primary stat by 39 for 18 sec. Rarely, a Void Droplet will be created, increasing your primary stat by 77 for 18 sec instead.

      • Battlefield Precision   Your abilities have a chance to apply 20 stacks of Battlefield Focus to an enemy, increasing damage taken from members of the Alliance by 51. Applying Battlefield Focus to a member of the Horde grants an additional 5 stacks.

      • Liberator's Might   Your spells and abilities have a chance to grant 0 Critical Strike and 0 Haste for 10 sec.  Attacking a member of the opposite faction significantly increases this chance.
      • Retaliatory Fury   Your spells and abilities have a chance to grant 153 Mastery and absorb 616 damage for 10 sec.  Attacking a member of the opposite faction is more likely to activate this effect.

    •  Earthlink Azerite energy courses through you, reaching 0 primary stat and then diminishing down to 0 primary stat, cycling every 6 sec.
    •  Ablative Shielding Falling below 20% health grants you 0 Armor for 10 sec. Taking further Physical damage reduces the Armor granted. May only occur every 30 sec.
    •  Azerite Empowered Increases the item level this item by 5.
    •  Azerite Fortification When stunned, immobilized, or knocked back, you heal for 347.
    •  Blood Siphon Increases your Mastery by 28 and your Leech by 14.
    •  Bulwark of the Masses When you are surrounded by 4 or more enemies, gain a shield that absorbs 832 damage. Cannot occur more than once every until cancelled.
    •  Champion of Azeroth Contributing to the death of an enemy of Azeroth heals you for 624 and grants you 22 Versatility for 1 min, stacking up to 2 times.
    •  Crystalline Carapace When dealt damage greater than 10% of your maximum health, gain 72 Armor and cause melee attackers to suffer 83 Physical damage. Lasts 12 sec.
    •  Ephemeral Recovery Casting a healing spell restores [0 * (4)] mana over 8 sec. Stacks up to 4 times.
    •  Gemhide When dealt damage greater than 10% of your maximum health, gain 0 Avoidance and 0 Armor for 10 sec.
    •  Impassive Visage When you take damage, heal for 139. Cannot occur more than once every 6 sec.
    •  Lifespeed Increases your Haste by 28 and your Avoidance by 14.
    •  Longstrider Increases your movement speed by 10% of your highest secondary rating, up to 3%.
    •  On My Way Increases your Versatility by 28 and your Speed by 14.
    •  Resounding Protection Every 30 sec, gain an absorb shield for 208 for 30 sec.
    •  Self Reliance While no enemies are within 20 yds, you heal for 70 every 3 sec.
    •  Synergistic Growth Casting your multi-target healing spell grants you 0 Mastery for 10 sec sec. This cannot occur more than once every 30 sec.
    •  Vampiric Speed When an enemy you harmed dies, you heal for 624 and gain 49 Speed for 6 sec.
    •  Winds of War Taking damage grants you 0 Dodge for 3 sec, stacking up to 10 times.
    •  Champion of Azeroth Your spells and abilities have a chance to increase all secondary stats by 4 for 1 min, stacking up to 4 times.
    •  Unstable Flames Your damaging abilities have a chance to grant 34 critical strike rating for 5 sec. This effect stacks up to 34 times.
    •  Azerite Globules Your damaging abilities have a chance to implant an Azerite Globule on your enemies. When an enemy collects 231 Azerite Globules, they explode, dealing 231 damage to nearby enemies.
    •  Azerite Veins Taking damage has a chance to grant you Azerite Veins, healing you for 34 every 3 sec. Lasts 18 sec or until you are fully healed.
    •  Blessed Portents Your healing spells have a chance to apply Blessed Portents for 20 sec. When the ally falls below 50% health, Blessed Portents is consumed and instantly restores 173 health.
    •  Bracing Chill Your heals have a chance to apply Bracing Chill. Healing a target with Bracing Chill will heal for an additional 83 and move Bracing Chill to a nearby ally (up to 6 times).
    •  Concentrated Mending Your healing effects have a chance to grant the target (7 * 2) additional healing every 2 sec for 12 sec. This effect doubles every 2 sec.
    •  Elemental Whirl Your damaging abilities have a chance to grant you Elemental Whirl, increasing your Critical Strike, Haste, Mastery, or Versatility by 0 for 10 sec.
    •  Embrace of the Sands Critical strikes by your abilities have a chance to create a localized Sandstorm, damaging enemies and healing allies within 10 yards for (77 * 4) every 2 sec for 6 sec.
    •  Fury of the Sands Attacks have a chance to deal 77 additional Physical damage. Critical strikes by this damage are multiplied by 300%.
    •  Gutripper Your damaging abilities have a chance to deal 347 Physical damage to the target. Gutripper occurs much more often against targets below 30% health.
    •  Heed My Call Your damaging abilities have a chance to deal 154 Nature damage to your target, and 15 Nature damage to enemies within 3 yards of that target.
    •  Mote in the Eye Your abilities have a chance to grant you (77 * 6) critical strike rating, decreasing by 77 every 2 sec.
    •  Overwhelming Power Your damaging abilities have a chance to grant you 25 applications of Overwhelming Power. Each stack of Overwhelming Power grants 0 Haste. An application of Overwhelming Power is removed every 1 sec or whenever you take damage.
    •  Savior Your heals on targets below 35% health have a chance to heal for an additional 208.
    •  Strength in Numbers Taking damage has a chance to increase your maximum health by 1088 for each enemy within 0 yds, up to 5 enemies. Lasts 15 sec.
    •  Upwelling Taking damage has a chance to create an upwelling of Azerite beneath your feet, increasing your Health by 1905 and your Armor by 111 while you stand within it. Lasts until cancelled.
    •  Woundbinder Your healing effects have a chance to increase your Haste by up to 0 for 6 sec. Healing lower health targets will grant you more Haste.
    •  Meticulous Scheming Your spells and abilities have a chance to grant you Meticulous Scheming for 8 sec, which transforms into Sieze the Moment! after you cast 3 different spells, granting you 55 Haste for 20 sec seconds.
    •  Sandstorm Your spells and abilities have a chance to summon a cylone of piercing winds. Enemies inside the cyclone take 693 damage every 2, and deal 231 less damage to you.
    •  Wandering Soul Your spells and abilities have a chance to draw a Wandering Soul from Thros to serve you for 14 sec, granting you some of its power.

Mich würde bei der Inschriftenkunde auch noch interessieren ob man mehrere Verträge gleichzeitig aktiv haben kann und wie lange der Effekt anhält. Oder ist das dann permanent?
Weiß jemand schon etwas dazu?

Hallo Zusammen,

ich wollte mal fragen ob schon was zu den Bonis der Berufe zu finden war (z.B. Flask beim Alchie halten 2 anstatt eine Stunde). Bleiben diese bestehen ? Wäre gut sowas vorher zu wissen bevor ich meinem Raidcha ganz um sonst Alchemie beibringe xD

Ihr hattet geschrieben das dan den Key nach 5 -10 min zugesendet bekommt....

Gameladen hat mir nu geschrieben das ich den key erst am relese tag bekomme..... arg... also kann ich zum prepatch meinen Boost noch nicht verwenden... schade hätte ich das gewusst.... ja dann bestell ich wohl besser direkt bei BLIZZ nächstes mal ??

Das tut uns leid. Aber die Info, dass Keys sofort versendet werden, stammt noch aus der Zeit, als es Preorder-Keys waren! Jetzt sind es normale Keys und auf der Produktseite von GameLaden steht sogar, dass sie erst zum Release geliefert werden. :)

Legion hatte halt jede Menge tolle Features. Artefaktwaffe, Klassenquestreihe, Ordenshalle, Ordenshallenquestreihe, Suramar, Klassenmounts, Dämonenjäger. Hab ich was vergessen? Vor allem bei der Artefaktwaffe habe ich mich gefragt, wie Blizzard das denn im nächsten Addon noch toppen will, und habe etwas entsprechendes auch schon vor Monaten im WoW-Forum gepostet.

Ich habe durchaus Verständnis dafür, dass angesichts des geradezu überwältigenden Contents von Legion, der sogar mir manchmal schon zu viel war, das nächste Addon etwas kleiner daher kommen wird.  Ich habe mich manchmal gefragt, warum Blizzard sich nicht das eine oder andere Feature für das nächste Addon aufbewahrt hat.

Aber wer sich das alles klar macht, und akzeptiert, dass nicht jedes Addon so ein Knaller sein kann, und Addons auch eine Nummer kleiner Spaß machen können, der wird trotzdem mit BfA seinen Spaß haben. Da bin ich mir absolut sicher.

Es wäre schön. Aus Deiner Sicht, Aber objektiv gesehen ist es nicht wichtig. Wozu? Ich habe keine Ahnung was ich mit meinem Jäger-Twink denn noch alles zähmen soll.

Hmmm, natürlich aus meiner Sicht. Ich kann ja nicht für andere sprechen. Ich kann mir aber gut vorstellen das auch andere gerne noch mehr Platz hätten. Mein Hunter ist mein Main und den spiele ich mit Treffsicherheit. Jedoch habe ich mit der BM-Skillung auch viele Pets die ich nur als BM auch nutzen kann. Von denen möchte ich keines wegschicken um mir ein neues zähmen zu können. Aber jetzt mit Argus sind einige dazu gekommen die ich gern hätte und im nächsten Addon wird das nicht anders aussehen.

Du meinst wahrscheinlich son ein sehr hervor stechendes Feature? Geht mir relativ ähnlich. Ich hoffe immer noch auf ein weiteres Suramar Ähnliches Gebiet. Vielleicht ja auch ein Reines Unterwasser Gebiet? Passend zu einen späteren Content Patch der den Raid um Aszhara einbaut. Die ja wohl erst im 2ten oder gar 3ten Tier auftauchen wird. Auf starken Ausbau der Sozial Features habe ich auch gehofft, vor allem im Bezug aufs Gildensystem. Imo sind doch abgesehen vielleicht ovn Mythic Raiden, Gilden ja relativ sinnfrei, leer etc. 
Naja mit Housing und co hätte man dies ja auch verknüpfen können aber das kommt ja wohl auch nicht mit diesem Addon. Schade. Trotz allem sind einige Dinge echt Toll. Nur tuhe ich mich mit dem Titanforged system Schwer und bei den Legendary Neck hoffe ich auf einer Xp Cap.

Nein, mit dieser Meinung stehst du nicht alleine da. Dazu werde ich morgen einen Artikel veröffentlichen, der meine persönliche Meinung zum Addon beinhaltet. Gerne kannst du da auch seinen Senf zugeben. :)

Da muss ich Saphael recht geben. Klar passieren hier und da Fehler, aber das ist für mich vollkommen okay! Das passiert, das ist menschlich! Ich bin echt froh, dass es diese Seite gibt und ihr so viel Mühe in sie steckt. Tatsächlich lese ich nur noch vanion.eu als WoW Zeitschrift, da ich sowoh das Layout der Seite als auch den Stil und Aufbau der Artikel sehr schick finde!

Ja ich muss noch einmal alles auf Fehler prüfen... das wird noch ein Fest. Aber irgendwann verlässt einen auch die Aufmerksamkeit für sowas... obwohl das eigentlich nicht sein sollte auf einer solchen Webseite, aber hey... lieber schnelle Infos, statt langsame und dafür alle Kommas richtig gesetzt und Flüchtigkeittsfehler entfernt. ;)
