Legion Alpha Update - Build 21063: Neuheiten, Modelle & mehr!

Zwei Wochen sind vorbei und somit wurde es wieder Zeit für ein Update der World of Warcraft - Legion Alphaserver. Die Entwickler haben Build 21063 aufgespielt und mit ihm kommen natürlich wieder allerlei neue Modelle, Inhalte und mehr ins Spiel. Was genau, das müssen auch wir erstmal überprüfen, sobald die Server wirklich online sind und wir uns einen Überblick verschaffen konnten. Dementsprechend werden wir dann diesen Artikel aktualisieren. Folgend gibt es bereits eine Liste der Highlights und Neuheiten, die unteranderem auch von den Infos der Dataminer bei MMOChampion und WoWHead gefüllt wird. Schaut also öfters mal vorbei! Am Ende des Artikel gibt es außerdem ein Design-Status-Bluepost von Blizzard.
 

Highlights aus dem Legion Alpha Build 21063

  • Diverse Ausrichtungen haben großflächige Anpassungen erhalten. Dazu gehören: Blut Todesritter, Verstärker Schamane, Elementar Schamane, Täuschungs Schurke, Überlebens Jäger, Treffsicherheits Jäger und der Wächter Druide.
     
  • Alle Klassen, die heilen können, können nun mit allen Ausrichtungen auch wieder Wiederbeleben. Die Heilerausrichtung hat jedoch den Bonus, dass sie Massenwiederbelebung beherrschen.
     
  • Es wurden alle Tier-19-Set-Boni eingefügt.
     
  • Es sind sechs neue Ausrichtungen spielbar:
     
    • Heilig Priester
    • Heilig Paladin
    • Schutz Paladin
    • Tierherrschafts Jäger
    • Dämonologie Hexenmeister
    • Arkan Magier

  • Unholy Frenzy When a Festering Wound bursts, your ghoul gains 100% increased attack speed for 3 2 sec. Unholy Death Knight - Level 45 Talent.
  • Volatile Shielding Name changed from "Pathetic Magic" to "Volatile Shielding". Your Anti-Magic Shell absorbs 30% more magic damage but generates less Runic Power. When the shell expires 100% of all damage it absorbed is dealt as Arcane divided among nearby enemies turns your enemies' pathetic magic against them, absorbing 30% more magic and dealing 100% of all damage absorbed as Frost divided among nearby enemies when it expires. Runic Power generated from absorbing magic is reduced. Frost Death Knight - Level 75 Talent.
  • Winter is Coming Name changed from "Flash Freeze" to "Winter is Coming". Enemies struck 5 times by Remorseless Winter are stunned for 3 while your Pillar of Frost spell is active are stunned for 4 sec. Frost Death Knight - Level 60 Talent.

PvP Talents
  • Crypt Fever Whenever enemies are healed while afflicited by your Festering Wound, they take 100 0 Shadow damage. Unholy DeathKnight - Tier 4 PvP Talent.
  • Dark Simulacrum Places a dark ward on an enemy that persists for 8 sec, triggering when the enemy next spends mana on a spell, and allowing the Death Knight to unleash an exact duplicate of that spell. Against nonplayers, only absorbs some harmful spells. DeathKnight - Tier 2 PvP Talent. 20 Runic Power. 40 yd range. Instant. 60 sec cooldown.
  • Necrotic Strike A vicious strike that deals 50% weapon damage, absorbs the next AP healing received by the target. Lasts 10 sec. Unholy DeathKnight - Tier 5 PvP Talent. Melee range. Instant. 1 Runes. Melee range. Instant.
  • Unholy Mutation When you When your Virulent Plague is dispelled or ends it's duration, a Slime spawns dealing 1,000 Nature damage and slowing all enemies within 8 yards by 50% for 3 sec. The Slime lasts for 15 sec. Unholy DeathKnight - Tier 5 PvP Talent.
  • Walking Dead Your Death Grip dispels all movement increasing effects from the target causes the target to be unable to move faster than normal movement speed for 8 sec. Blood DeathKnight - Tier 4 PvP Talent.

  • Blood Boil Deals [ 1 + 48% of AP ] Shadow damage and spreads disease to infects all enemies within 10 yards. Death Knight - Blood Spec. 1 Runes. Instant. with Blood Plague.   • Demonic Appetite Name changed from "I'll Swallow Your Soul!" to "Demonic Appetite". Consuming a Soul Fragment grants 50 Chaos Strike has a chance to spawn a Soul Fragment, and consuming a Soul Fragment grants 30 Fury. Havoc Demon Hunter - Level 90 Talent. 15 Talent.
  • Etched in Blood (New) Every 20 Pain that you spend reduces the remaining cooldown of your Sigils by 1 sec. Vengeance Demon Hunter - Level 45 Talent.
  • Feast of Souls Soul Cleave heals you for an additional 0 over 6 sec. Vengeance Demon Hunter - Level 30 Talent. 75 Talent.
  • Fel Barrage (NYI) (New) At your command, unleash Fel, inflicting [ 190% of AP ] Chaos damage to your target and nearby enemies in a barrage of explosions for each charge (max 5). Your damaging attacks have a chance to generate a charge. Havoc Demon Hunter - Level 100 Talent. Instant.

  • Nether Bond Name changed from "Soulmate" to "Nether Bond". Mark a friendly target as your Soulmate for 15 sec. Soul Cleave heals your Soulmate for 10% of their Bind yourself to a friendly target for 15 sec. Every 1 sec, the health of you and your target is redistributed such that you are at the same percentage of maximum health. Vengeance Demon Hunter - Level 75 100 Talent. 40 yd range.   • Pain Tolerance Your maximum Pain is increased by 20, and You generate 4 Pain every second while you are below 20 Pain. Vengeance Demon Hunter - Level 45 Talent. 15 Talent.
  • Quickened Sigils All Sigils activate 1 second faster, and their cooldowns are reduced by 15% range is increased by 10 yards. Vengeance Demon Hunter - Level 60 Talent.

Offizielle Design Notes zum Update

Blizzard hat ebenfalls ein paar Worte zum neusten Alpha Build veröffentlicht, in dem sie vor allem auf die Anpassungen an den Klassen eingegangen sind und wo sich viel verändert hat. Außerdem gab es noch die Information, dass derzeit an der Balance bei den Gegnern in den Zonen der Verheerten Inselngeschruabt wird. Die Lebenspunkte wurden generell erhöht, da die TTK (Time-To-Kill / Zeit die benötigt wird, um den Gegner zu töten)  einfach zu kurz war.
  • Vergelter-Paladin: Einige Talente wurden überarbeitet.
  • Verstärker-Schamande und Elementar-Schamane: Viele Talente und einige Basis-Fähigkeiten wurden überarbeitet.
  • Wächter-Druiden: Die Offensiv-Fähigkeiten wurden überarbeitet um ein spannenderes Spielerlebnis zu bieten.
  • Blut-Todesritter: Viele Talente wurden überarbeitet, ebenso wie einige Basis-Fähigkeiten
  • Täuschungs-Schurke: Es wurden signifikante Änderungen an den Kampf-Fähigkeiten vorgenommen. 
  • Treffsicherheit und Überlebens-Jäger: Einige Talente wurden überarbeitet.

Yet another new Alpha build is on its way, hopefully today. More new and revised things are available to test:

    A whopping 6 new specializations are ready for testing! We’d love any and all feedback about their gameplay, artifact quest lines, abilities, etc.

  • Class Status
    We’re continuing to iterate on our class abilities and talents, based on testing and feedback. This build has many revisions scattered around the classes, but here are some highlights:
    • Retribution Paladins – Several talents have been revised.
    • Enhancement Shamans – Many talents have been revised. We also revised some of their baseline abilities, and passives.
    • Elemental Shamans – Many talents have been revised. We also revised some of their baseline abilities, and passives.
    • Guardian Druids – Their core offensive combat abilities have received significant changes. Hopefully this should create more engaging gameplay.
    • Blood Death Knights – Many talents have been revised. We also revised some of their baseline abilities.
    • Subtlety Rogues – We’ve significantly revised their core combat abilities. We’ve also tweaked what abilities each spec has.
    • Marksmanship Hunters – Several talents have been revised.
    • Survival Hunters – Several talents have been revised.
    • Discipline Priest – We revised some baseline abilities.
       
  • Creature Tuning
    We continue to tweak the health levels of creatures in Legion. In this build, creature health has been raised, because combat times were generally too short. Feedback on whether creatures take too long or too little time to kill is valuable, as well as how sparsely or densely populated with creatures the world is. Be sure to mention specific locations when giving feedback on this!

Die Setbonis vom havoc Demonhunter hauen mich jetzt nicht unbedingt um, der 2er Boni geht ja noch aber beim 4er dasselbe nur schwächer? ist ein bissl mau.
Ich hoffe das es sich dabei nur um einen vorläufigen boni handelt und sie sich da noch was einfallen lassen

    • Verstärkungs-Schamanen – Viele Talente wurden überarbeitet. Ebenso haben wir ein paar der Haupt- und Passivfähigkeiten überarbeitet.
    • Elementar-Schamanen – Viele Talente wurden überarbeitet. Ebenso haben wir ein paar der Haupt- und Passivfähigkeiten überarbeitet.
    • Wächter-Druiden – Deren Kern-Offensivfähigkeiten wurden signifikant verändert. Wir hoffen, dass diese Veränderungen die Spielweise fesselnder gestaltet.
    • Blut-Todesritter – Viele Talente wurden überarbeitet. Ebenso haben wir ein paar der Hauptfähigkeiten überarbeitet.
    • Täuschungs-Schurken – Deren Kern-Offensivfähigkeiten wurden signifikant verändert. Es wurden ebenso einige Feineinstellungen vorgenommen, die festlegen, welche Fähigkeiten jede Spezialisierung hat.
    • Treffsicherheits-Jäger – Mehrere Talente wurden überarbeitet.
    • Überlebens-Jäger – Mehrere Talente wurden überarbeitet.
    • Disziplin-Priester – Ein paar Hauptfähigkeiten wurden überarbeitet.
       
  • Kreaturen-Tuning
    Wir setzen unsere Arbeit an der Feinabstimmung der Gesundheitsmenge von Kreaturen in Legion  fort. In diesem Build wurde die Gesundheit der Kreaturen erhöht, aufgrund der Tatsache, dass "Im Kampf" - Zeiten zu kurz waren. Es ist sehr wertvoll, Feedback bezüglich der Dauer eines Kampfes zu erhalten, ob zu kurz oder zu lang, ebenso wie sparsam oder überfüllt die Verteilung von Kreaturen auf der Welt ausfällt. Denkt daran, genaue Standortangaben zu machen, wenn ihr diesbezüglich Feedback gebt!

*Iteration: Kann man diesbezüglich darunter verstehen, dass wiederholt Tests durchgeführt werden, Feinabstimmungen, bis man an einem gewissen Punkt angelangt ist, der zufriedenstellend ist. So würde ich das jedenfalls interpretieren.

Keine ei zige Fähigkeit beim Guardian Druide wirde geändert. Haben die Devs da irgendwie nicht gewust was sie gemacht haben oder wurde das einfach noch nicht getrackt?

Schau nochmal unter den Klassenanpassungen nach. Das waren leider noch die vom alten Build, sind nun die neuen! ;) Aber man muss trotzdem sagen, dass sich nicht SO VIEL am Wächter Druide getan hat :D

Es ist nicht viel was geändert wurde, aber doch Dinge, die den Spielfluss verbessern. Z.B. wurde der CD von Aufschlitzen wieder entfernt und ist somit wieder unser Basisfiller und das empfinde ich als sehr gut. Außerdem bekommen wir eine neue Fähigkeit: "Gore": Your Mangle, Thrash, Lacerate, and Moonfire each have a 15% chance to reset the cooldown of Mangle, and cause it to generate an additional 40 Rage.
